Marie and Joe tied the knot at Jacques Reception Center on a beautiful late August night. Boasting a beautiful outdoor space, spacious and newly renovated rooms accommodating over 400 guests, and top-of-the-line cuisine, Jacques has something for everybody.
Sticking with the aesthetics of the room and the new theming, Marie and Joe chose to add some color throughout and stick with the modern theme. We chose to use our own crystal centerpieces placed on a mirror, having purple lighting throughout to create an atmosphere and incorporating some greenery elements.
The menu that Marie, Joe, and our sales team crafted highlighted many of our most fun and excellent dishes. To start with the cocktail hour, Marie and Joe opted for various passed hors d’oeuvers. Some of their selections included Seared Ahi Tuna on Cucumber Rounds with Wasabi Mayo, a Louisiana style Crabcake with a Creole Remoulade, Roasted Strawberry Crostini with Prosciutto & Brie Cheese, and finally, Asian Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Pepper Sauce. Complementing these passed options, the couple also opted for a manned Action Station. They chose our Wok Station, which is a combination of Teriyaki Beef or Orange Chicken with sides of rice and lo mein noodles. Finally, rounding out the cocktail hour, there were two specialty stations the Hot Seafood Station, which featured Herb-Crusted Salmon, Fried Calamari, and Baked Clams Oreganata, and the Bacon Bar, which has Candied Bacon, Brown Sugar Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp and Jalapeno Poppers, and Bacon Cheddar Biscuits. Marie and Joe valued their cocktail hour tremendously and attempted to have something for everyone’s taste and preferences.
Moving over to the main reception, where their impressive menu only grew, the couple started off with our Taste of Tuscany waiting for their guests. On their plates when they arrived were small martini glasses containing a personal antipasto platter. Following this was a passed sit-down Strawberry Salad. Moving onto the sit-down entrees, Marie and Joe choose three of our selections for their guests—Roasted Tenderloin of Beef, Champagne Chicken, and Pecan-Crusted Salmon, all accompanied by vegetables and potatoes. Choosing a sit-down option for your affair allows your guests to not need to wait in line or travel for their food and adds an element of class that can wow your crowd.
Finally, the evening culminated in dessert, with numerous options for Marie and Joe’s guests to choose from—starting with their beautiful wedding cake custom-made by Normandie Bakery. This cake featured a textured design and piping around each letter’s base with pops of pink flowers to add color to the design. In addition to this, the couple also had some passed dessert options, including our wonderful Nutella Cheesecake Dumplings, Lemon Raspberry Tarts, and Warm Cookies and Milk. Like the passed items during the cocktail hour, these are brought to your guests and are individual-sized portions for them to enjoy. This wedding was a smashing success for our happy couple, and we at Jacques were delighted to make this day special for them both.
