Brianna & David's Wedding
The Wedding of Brianna and David
It was early October. The day was warm with a gentle breeze as the trees around them started to shift in color. On this beautiful afternoon, Brianna and David tied the knot in front of family and friends on at her family home. It was a day filled with happy tears, laughter, dancing. Some drinking and, of course, good food. Proving anywhere can be special and perfect when you are marrying your soulmate.
The Design
The couple went with a rustic-chic when they planned their event. There were two types of centerpieces. The first type were tall centerpieces with long branches with sunflowers and roses nestled within sat atop round mirrors on each table. The other centerpiece was a series of 4 short vases that rested on wooden raisers. Both centerpieces had a series of small lit candles circling them and wooden blocks with the table numbers attached to them. From the cake to the tables, sunflowers were used throughout the reception to add a touch of color without making things seem too colorful. The head table overflowed with the sun-filled blossoms. Mason jars were used as beverage glasses, both at the bars and tables. Offering a unique, but tasteful upgrade to the traditional wedding.

The Menu
Since the ceremony and wedding reception took place at the same location, guests were treated to a pre-ceremony station as they waited to witness the vows and the joining of two wonderful people. After the heartfelt vows were exchanged guests were directed to the cocktail area to enjoy refreshing drinks and warm food.
Cocktail hour was a combination of passed Hors D’oeuvres and stationed items. Guests enjoyed Texas beef brisket sliders. The brisket was smoked in our custom-built smoker creating tender, flavorful meat that left people wanting more. Some other passed items were also able to snack on freshly made Spanakopita and Chicken quesadillas filled with assorted fruits and pepper jack cheese. The cold station had five different types of boards and platters. A crudités basket, Pumpernickel bread with our homemade spinach dip, and the Middle East Spreads were a few of the options on that table. On a separate table, chaffers of pasta, chicken and Spanish paella were continuously refreshed as guests eagerly went up for seconds and thirds.
Dinner was a seated event. The salad was served to family and friends after the beautiful bride and her groom were announced and celebrated their union with a lovely first dance. Once some dancing was out of the way, a duel plated dinner was served. Grilled, on-site, Filet Mignon and Jumbo Prawns were carefully laid in front of each person. A special dish of Jasmine rice with grilled tofu and vegetables topped with coconut curry was served to those with a more select diet.
Dessert was a combination of family-style fruit kabobs and a sliced wedding cake that was supplied by our in house bakery.
