Courtney & Dan's Wedding

With the fall in full effect, with the autumn leaves and the weather changing, Courtney and Dan tied the knot at Bell Works in Holmdel, New Jersey. This venue has numerous rooms and options, boasting a modern setting for your special day. With floor-to-ceiling windows, modern, customizable lighting systems, and one of the largest photovoltaic sunroofs in the world, this space is truly one of a kind. No matter what time of year, Bell Works can do it all, offering you and the person you love year-round availability.

The Décor

Sticking with the venue’s theme, Courtney and Dan choose many touches to enhance the modern feeling. Bringing the autumn feeling into the space was key for the couple, so incorporating shades of reds, oranges, and yellows was a priority. Starting with the centerpieces, many tables included two smaller-sized vases with fall-themed flower arrangements. While fall-themed in nature, these vases still tie in the modern elements, matching the clear Chiavari chairs with all glass. In addition to this, the space had pops of color with floral arrangements throughout. The ceiling featured string globe lights spanning edge to edge above the tables and dance floor. To conclude, the couple’s additions added their personal touch to the beautiful modern space, highlighting the simplicity with a homey feel.

The Menu

The menu for Courtney and Dan was built with their tastes in mind but with one overarching theme of comfort. Beginning with cocktail hour, some passed highlights included Beef Empanadas, BBQ Pulled Pork over a Polenta Chips, Asian Spring Rolls, and Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus. In addition to the passed items, there were two cold and action stations. The cold station featured fresh fruit, grilled vegetables, and a bruschetta bar. At the same time, the action station manned by a trained Jacques chef had freshly made quesadillas and sides.

Onto the main reception now, the couple opted for a full buffet with a carving station. Breaking down the buffet, the choices here followed the same idea of comfort food for everyone’s tastes. To lead off the buffet, there was a house-made Caesar Salad. The hot selections included Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese, Oven Roasted Potatoes, Chicken Sorrentino, and Rolled Eggplant Parmigiana. Ending with the carving station, Courtney and Dan choose the Marinated New York Strip Steak freshly carved for their guests’ desired tastes.

The evening finally culminated with dessert, where Courtney and Dan celebrated with their guests with their multi-tiered wedding cake decorated with the same fall theme crafted by Normandie Bakery.
