Frank & Yvette's Wedding
Wedding at Sandy Hook Chapel
On a Beautiful July day by the seaside, Frank and Yvette tied the knot at Sandy Hook Chapel. They took their vows outside the humble building overlooking the calm waves as the sun shone as brightly as the love between them. The reception was held on-site under a clear roofed tent, letting the guests enjoy the starry night as well and the ocean breeze. The perfect blend of everything they hope their union will reflect in the future. Clam, Bright, Shining in the dark and peaceful.
The Décor
The bride and groom kept much of the event’s decor simple and elegant using flowers to elevate the natural beauty of the area. In awe, the guests walked into the main tent to find a beautiful flower chandelier that hung in the center, right above the dancefloor. When the sunset and the uplighting turned on, the clear tent glowed with color and life, reflecting the joy and energy of the happy couple. The bride selected a tall centerpieces for the reception tent. The tall branches reaching up, the flowers hanging off the vase in glass orbs, fresh white flowers, created a clean, beautiful finish to the elegant, timeless look the couple wanted.
This refined look was also created within the chapel for the first hour. A small lounge area was set up by the bar. High and low tops were carefully placed throughout the room to encourage everyone to mingle and try as much food as possible. Smaller centerpieces were used in this room so that no one felt overwhelmed. The couple truly created a warm, inviting and elegant event that never once felt over the top or as though they were trying too hard.

The Menu
After the beautiful ceremony, on grounds, guests enjoyed a relaxing cocktail hour inside the chapel. They were greeted by a stinging display of sushi setup on a stage and a seafood station centered in the middle of the room. Plus while Hors D’Oeuvres floated around the room, fresh pasta was cooked to order. Between cocktail hour, dinner and dessert, this wedding ensured noone left hungry or wanting.
The reception moved everyone outside to enjoy the beautiful day. Attendees were welcomed to their seats with the sight of fresh fruit that was followed by a Summer inspired salad before a short pause to enjoy the dance floor. For their main meal, the guests helped themselves to an elegant outdoor grill buffet. Chicken Kabobs, Lobster Tails, and Filet Mignon were some of the highlights of the evening.
Dinner was so good that some even went back for thirds and left some wondering if the dessert course could possible top such a wonderful meal. The answer was yes. Yes, the dessert truly was a wonderful cherry on top such a lovely series of courses. Each guest was given their own platter of sweets that consisted of small bun cakes, a miniature cheesecake and Creme Brulee. As the candy and coffee stations opened up, the cake was sliced and passed out.
