The Design
The couple went for a clean, classic modern design within the neo-gothic church. Blue uplighting was used to create a glow of tranquility and intimacy. The soft hue of blue married beautifully with the cream colored tables. They used small and tall centerpieces to allow guests to have easy conversations and ensure they didn’t feel overwhelmed by the high ceilings and grand windows.

The Menu
Before the main course, guests were treated to a lovely cocktail hour on both floors of the building. Servers came around passing Grilled Lamb Chops with garlic mashed potatoes on small bamboo plates, New England Chowder shooters, and Filet Mignon on 7-grained bread. Food stations were found on both floors. Some items on the station were Baked Brie en croute with apples, cranberries and candied walnuts baked in, raviolis wtih sun-dried tomatoes, an International Cheese Board and rice balls with mozzarella.
After the salad course, family and friends were presented with a duel plated meal of Filet Mignon and Grilled Jumbo Prawns alongside roasted fingerling potatoes and aspargus wrapped in squash.
Dessert was slices of wedding cake, plattered fruit kabobs for each top and a wonderful Donut Gallery station. If this wasn’t enough to ensure guests didn’t leave hungry, they were able to take warm, freshly made breakfast sandwiches to go.
