NICOLE’S SWEET 16
Celebrate in Style
It was a gorgeous spring afternoon when Nicole celebrated her 16th birthday in style. Her laid back beach theme was the perfect blend of relaxation and sophistication, making it fun for both her teenage friends and her older family members.
The Design
Nicole wanted to have all she loved about the beach, but without the sand in her shoes. With that in mind, she picked Cafe & Light Blue linen for her colors. The cafe helped to create the beach look she wanted, while the light blue brought the best of the sea indoors. Seashells tastefully circled her white lantern center pieces. This helped to give a slightly lighthouse feel to the lantern, while keeping everything fresh and simple. The head table was also beautifully decorated to show what the tide brought in.

The Menu
Nicole wanted to keep the food fun and relaxed to keep with both her theme and personality. So, she chose to start things off with a Boardwalk Station. Cocktail Franks, BBQ Wings, & Mozzarella Sticks helped to ensure that the first hour was both filling and casual. This was followed by a tasty buffet with some of our long time favorites that we’ve been creating for years. Last, and most importantly, the desserts. Of course there was cake, but there was also a wonderful Candy Bar Station and a decadent cascading Chocolate Fountain which had everyone lining up.
